whatcha saying bout the tracklist? 15 songs ftw! and the songnames sound rather interesting.

they sound rather electronic, just as the catalyst preview. I'm dissappointed, although I kinda knew they'd choose this direction. My hopes are not up too high for the album, but I'm still hoping for at least some good tracks.
I can't crticize LP for changing their style, because i'm sure it's boring doing the same music for years. But I'm still sad about thinking of never hearing new songs which are great like BTH, OSC, Papercut, ETR.... I'm waiting for the album now before complaining too much.

I wouldn't say I don't like the song. I even like it better in a whole than the snippets. it's balanced and interesting in a whole, the c-part is really nice and I enjoy hearing that LP uses a different kinds of song-structures now. I think it's probably a good song in its genre, but I don't really listen to that genre. So I don't wanna see my alltime favourite band doing this kind of music, because I can't get new songs of their old style, which was unique, if the whole album sounds like that and they decide to walk on this path. the electronic thing at 1:30 which continues throughout the song is annoying me, it sounds like funfair music. and I love real drums, so why do they use beats like David Guetta and let Brad look like a fool as Mr Hahn did on the MtM-songs at their concerts? too few guitar in there for me :x The last part of the song is nice. it would have been great if there was a good song before it, but my ears can't stand that kind of music >.<
I hope you can enjoy it better than me, because it feels like a let down and just makes me impatient. I wanna hear the whole album to make sure if I really can't listen to LPs new music anymore or if there's still some kind of hope....

So now you know my opinion, I'd like to hear yours ^^
